About
Rebecca, born and raised in Nelson has taught dance for over 20 years, producing numerous successful students whom have gone on to pursue a professional career in dance. A registered teacher of The Royal Academy of Dance and New Zealand Association of Modern Dance, Rebecca has a love of teaching, a passion for Ballet and enjoys instilling a growth mindset and 'can do' attitude in her dance classroom. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning (Primary Education) which compliments her effective classroom management, teaching strategies and communication skills. Alongside dance, Rebecca is passionate about Positive Psychology and currently holds a Diploma in this field. Her goal is to develop competent, confident dancers who continue to strive for excellence long after their dance training is complete.
